Hi readers,
Today I'm going to be sharing some of my work about Ida, Ida is a girl in a book she doesn't really like her sister much at the end of the book Ida made her sister disappear.
For about 3 days we have been working on how to make a worm farm and thing me and my buddy were working together and i'm going to be showing you how to make a worm farm
For the last couple weeks we have been writing about cats should be allowed outside or cats should stay inside, I'm persuading you to let your cat outside not all the time but most of the times and here is some reasons
I strongly believe that cats should be allowed outside.
I'm going to give you three paragraphs on why you should let your cat outside and hopefully you will let your cat go outside.
Firstly, You should let your cats go outside not all the time but most times so then they don't scratch the couch. If you leave them inside that's when you're not gonna have any furniture left in the house.
Secondly, When you leave your cat inside they may poo or wee inside and then you have to clean it up and even when you put a litter box inside they don't always use it all the time. When you leave them inside for too long they hide then you won't be able to find them because they will hide from you.
Thirdly Not all cats do this but cats catch birds and mice/rats so then you don't have yucky animals in your house. Some people tell their cats off for bringing birds and mice, rats inside but it's just what cats like to do.When they catch mice.
You can now see why you should let your cat for some fun in the outside world.
Here is some of the games that have violence in it like:
Fortnite
Among us
Call of duty
GTA
In my Opinion I think you shouldn't play violence games because sometimes people do it in real life and it's really sad. People should cut the limit on video games because it's bad for you and for your mental health. When people play games like Among us, Fortnite, GTA, You should not be playing games like that.
My first argument is that: Video games are bad for children:
Video games are bad for children because it changes their behaviour. It could also give them brain damage and then their brain won't remember things. Sometimes when kids play video games too much it makes them not sleep and it makes them sleep in the daytime.
My second argument is that Video games are really addictive:
Video games are really addictive, Video games are made so when you level up you want to keep on playing. Plus when you play video games too much your mental health goes up. When you play them for to long you like to keep playing them because you think they are fun to play but it messes with you.
My third argument is that Video games contain violence:
Video games can contain violence lots of kids are seeing things like bad words or bad things that they shouldn't be seeing. It's really bad when you watch violent things. Kids need to limit their time being on video games because it's bad for you.
I just think you shouldn't play violence games because sometimes people do it in real life and it's really sad. People should cut the limit on video games because it's bad for you and for your mental health. When people play games like Among us, Fortnite, GTA, You should not be playing games like that.
I think you just need to limit your time being on devices and video games and things sometimes people play it every day and every night that is bad so you need to limit your time on being on devices and video games.
This week in reading we have been reading this book about these bullies and this boy called Jack Its called Just Dessert.
Being Conscious of the World Around Us
This week our value is Being Conscious of the World Around Us. This means showing awareness and empathy for what might be going on for other people and changing the way we act to be supportive of this.In Whakamanawa, we created a Wrinkled Heart Google Drawing to list the things that are said or done to us that make us feel down and blue. We then wrote things that make us feel positive and fill our hearts with good feelings.
