Pink Shirt Day

Friday Blog Day

Dear Readers

Today's Blog is  about Pink shirt day, something we've been working on in class this week.

Pink shirt day is to draw attention to the harmful effects of bullying and how it's important to be an outstander who can help prevent and stop bullying and not a bystander who looks on while others are being  bullied.

Can you say you're an outstander?

Quote of Week

BE A BUDDY NOT A BULLY!!!

Parihaka

 Kia Ora
Today's blog is about Parihaka.

In the 1870s and 1880s, Parihaka was the site of New Zealand most visible episodes of peaceful protest when two Maori leaders, Te Whiti & Tohu Kakahi used passive resistance methods to occupy Maori land that the colonial government had confiscated.

Here are some images to illustrate my work. I hope you like them and also my content. Please leave a comment that will hopefully encourage me to continue Blogging and make improvements where necessary.
